Walter Bowman was an Independent Gladiator on Solaris VII, mostly remembered for his fight on 18 February 3064 in the Grand Melee organized by Freak Show Entertainment in the Grayland Gardens Arena. The fight was to pit twelve MechWarriors with 'Mechs between light and Assault class. Unknown to him, he had been stalked by David Singh who decided he was not an assassin and skipped him. He was not so lucky when Kiichi Omata, revealed to be the thirteenth gladiator, found him and nearly destroyed him with his Kodiak 2. Only the appearance of David Singh in his Grasshopper saved him. He returned the favor during the same fight when he helped David to subdue Beatriz da Rosa and her Awesome. He lost the match, but survived to fight another day.[1]
