Warren Hestrus was a Lyran Commonwealth MechWarrior in the Twenty-sixth Lyran Guards during the late thirtieth and early thirty-first centuries.[2][3]
History[edit]
Hestrus was reputed to be a very skilled MechWarrior, who followed orders to the letter.
He was famous as the son of the winner of what was widely considered to be the only known battle between two Goliath BattleMechs. This occurred during a Draconis Combine raid on the world of Ryde in 2950, the fight going on for nearly an hour, before Hestrus was victorious. The defeated 'Mech was stripped for parts to help maintain Hestrus' 'Mech.
Hestrus continued in service during the Fourth Succession War, including defeating a Combine Panther on Engadin, as well as the War of 3039 where he fought on Alnasl. He also accumulated a half dozen kills in the time between those two conflicts.[2][3]
BattleMech[edit]
Hestrus was known to have piloted a Goliath BattleMech[2][3] that circa 3025 it had difficulty moving its left rear leg.[2]
