The Wild-Ride (also spelled as a single word in briefing or mission texts) was a spheroid DropShip in service with Hansen's Roughriders under captain Claire Salstrom.[1] It deployed with them during a mission to Venaria in July 3044,[2] with at least five BattleMechs implicitly deployed from the vessel.
Context and its depiction in the MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries game including its dimensions relative to the BattleMechs heavily imply the Wild-Ride to be a Union-class vessel.
Canonicity[edit]
Featuring only in the narrative of the MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries computer game, the Wild-Ride is apocryphal.
