Sergeant William Murdock was a member of the Fifth Deneb Light Cavalry during the Fourth Succession War.[1]
History[edit]
In January 3029, William Murdock served in an unknown unit of the Fifth Deneb Light Cavalry while it was stationed on Northwind along with Team Banzai and Bradley's Bravos. That same year, forces from the Draconis Combine—the Fifth Sword of Light, Thirty-sixth Dieron Regulars, and the Genyosha—attacked Northwind to relieve pressure on the Capellan Confederation.[2]
During the fighting, Tai-sho Palmer Conti, commander of the Fifth Sword of Light, initiated a plan to poison the water supply of Northwind's capital city, Cromarty City, which led to thousands of deaths in the civilian and Federated Suns defenders. After which, William and other survivors were assigned to "Team Cutter." Team Cutter and the other surviving units were forced to fall back with their defeat almost certain until the arrival of the Northwind Highlanders mercenary unit turned the tide and drove off the Kuritan invaders.[2]
