Winnie Museveni was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's XLII Corps as of 2764.[1]

With a background as a combat vehicle commander, Major General Museveni was a proponent of conventional armor over BattleMechs, which she considered "walking targets." Favoring her armored and infantry regiments during operations, she tended to use 'Mechs as a reserves and for when terrain was impassable for armor.[1]
The MechWarriors amongst her subordinates however, including her staff operations officer Colonel Haakon Olafsson, considered her a good commander despite her biases.[1]
