History[edit]
The ranks of the Lancers consisted of men and women who were not born into Clan Wolf but who won the right to join Kerensky's Children through skill and determination. Though they knew they can never acquire a precious Bloodname due to their freeborn status, each Lancer was fanatically devoted to the semi-exotic subculture that adopted them.
The Cluster's resolve was not shaken by the change of leadership after Anastasia Kerensky replaced Kal Radick.
As this was the smallest and least experienced Cluster of the Steel Wolves, the Lancers were typically used as garrison forces.[1]
