The Xanthe system was the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as of 3145 was located in the former Free Worlds League region Duchy of Andurien.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

Xanthe is located near the Ryerson and Leyda systems.[1][2]

System History[edit]

The Xanthe system was colonized by the Free Worlds League during the Age of War at some point prior 2466.[3]

Planetary History[edit]

Star League[edit]

During the reign of the Star League, terrorists seized an orbital refueling station over Xanthe III. The 48th Jump Infantry Division of the Star League Defense Force was sent in to retake the station. Unfortunately, the station was destroyed during the fighting due to stray shots hitting the station's fuel tanks. The station's wreckage then struck the inhabited surface of a nearby moon causing casualties and damage.[38]
