Zvi Freyr was a MechWarrior in the Arcturan Guards, who deserted from the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces after the end of the FedCom Civil War, and became a Pirate on the Periphery world of Hunter's Paradise.[1]

Following his desertion from the Arcturan Guards, Freyr from 3071 pretended to act as a guide for Lyran tourists on Hunter's Paradise seeking to hunt the Gladstone Dragon in hired ForestryMechs, who he later robbed and killed. By the time Freyr disappeared from Hunter's Paradise later in the 3070's, it was reported that more than sixteen wealthy Lyran tourists were lost as part of this criminal enterprise.[1]

Freyr piloted an extensive modified scarlet-painted COM-7S2 Commando Freyr BattleMech.[1]
