Overview
The Eleventh Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764 the Eleventh was a part of LI Corps within the Eleventh Army and was assigned to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region. The Eleventh was then transferred to District 2 by 2765, to take part in the SLDF response to the Periphery Uprising.[1]
During the push into Moscow in early 2777 the Eleventh supported the 146th Royal BattleMech Division.[2]
The Eleventh was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]

Tactics
The Mechanised Infantry Divisions of the Star League were used offensively to exploit gaps in the enemy front created by the BattleMech Divisions. They also bore the brunt of defensive actions.
Composition History
The Division comprised two Brigades of Mechanised Infantry and a single BattleMech Brigade. Also attached was a Ground Aero Wing.
