The "new" Twelfth Dieron Regulars had to be reorganized in late 3062 after their time garrisoning the border world Kiesen was abruptly cut short by a retaliatory attack by Clan Ghost Bear early in the Combine-Ghost Bear War.

Federated Suns Incursion

After being receiving hasty upgrades the Twelfth went on to assist the 45th Dieron Regulars in defending Ashio from the 1st Robinson Rangers in late 3064.

Jihad

In the confusion of the Jihad the Twelfth Dieron Regulars (along with the 22nd Dieron Regulars) suffered serious losses at the hands of Clan Diamond Shark on Nykvarn in the mid-3070's. Reduced to 40% of their nominal strength, they were transferred to Luzerne to rebuild.[1]

In 3059 Tai-sa Katherine Stavrakos is the current CO.

Tactics

The use their light weight as an advantage against their enemy, because they can outmaneuver their opponent with easd. The unit also extensively uses their scouting capability.

- The mechs are upgrade with the time and some omnimech are also presented.

- Some clan fighters made its way in the ranks of the unit.

Kiesen Medium Lancers (Regiment/Green/Reliable)[2]

Legacy of Minoru (Regiment/Regular/Fanatical)[2]

  • Troop Commander: Tai-sa Jerome Weber

- The unit is know for their tendency to fanatism. Every trooper will attack a mech with out question.
- The command contains some light artillery (2 squads) and infantry which is skilled in the use of demoltions.
