The 167th Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXIV Corps, Eighteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[2]. There they worked to patrol the new colonies of the Outworlds Alliance and protect the Department of Mega-Engineering projects. When not there, they were on False Dawn or Cerberus training and refitting.[1]
The ultimate fate of the 167th is completely unknown.[2] Speculation exits that the regiment became a mercenary unit in 2784 and has been linked to the Thirty-second Recon Combat Group however this remains unconfirmed.[3] Given the known history of that command it would seem unlikely.[4]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment, the 167th would have been composed of light to medium vehicles backed up by at least two Recon companies composed of BattleMechs designed for information gathering in addition to any regular 'Mechs within the regiment.[5]
