Overview
The Seventeenth Garrison Cluster were a second-line military formation of Clan Smoke Jaguar.
History
Post Tukayyid
The Regulars were posted to the Inner Sphere Occupation Zone after the Battle of Tukayyid. [1] They were then stationed on Hanover in 3054.[2]

As part of this clandestine campaign the Swift Spirits, a company sized unit from the First Ghost Regiment, dropped onto the planet in May 3059, the Seventeenth destroyed the Spirits completely in combat. [3]
Wave Two
Hanover
The planet was assaulted by the Second Dieron Regulars, Second Sword of Light and the Crater Cobras in June 3059. The Cluster managed a fighting withdrawal to Coudoux with Two Trinaries of Mechs with meager Elemental and Aerospace Fighter support. [4]
Wave Three
Coudoux
Arriving at Coudoux the Seventeenth joined up with the Eighth Garrison Cluster from Psi Galaxy that were defending the planet. When the inevitable Inner Sphere attack came here they offered only token resistance to the Second Sword of Light, the First Amphigean Light Assault Group, the First Aragon Borderers and the ComStar Thirty-fourth Division before retreating off planet. The Great Refusal

The Second Star League forces ejected the unit from the planet after a costly fight.[7]
Huntress
These retreating elements of joined up with other survivors and formed part of Hang Mehta's forces on Huntress in 3060.[1]
