History[edit]
The Seventeenth was the first new Pesht Regular regiment created under Yori Kurita's orders in the Dark Age. Formed using a core of troops from the 3rd Pesht Regulars, and as such are among the best in the Pesht Regulars. It was because of this that the Seventeenth was posted near the front, on Galtor III.[1]
