The 199th Striker Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as part of XLV Corps, Eighteenth Army to an undisclosed area within the Outworlds Alliance of the Periphery Military Region.[1] The 199th was attached to the Department of Mega-Engineering, serving as a security force.[2]
The 199th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]

Tactics[edit]
SLDF Striker regiments were used for reconnaissance and breakthrough exploitation.[3]
Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Striker regiment, the 199th would have been composed primarily of light to medium BattleMechs and had at least one company of Land-Air BattleMechs for recon. Also attached were pairs of aerospace fighters.[3]
