History

The First Albion Training Cadre was stationed on Morven in 3050.[2]

The homeworld of the First Albion Training Cadre is Broken Wheel.[3] By and large the cadets of the First Albion Training Cadre were able to stay out of the FedCom Civil War. Towards the end of the war, however, they provided a great deal of manpower for the Allied cause, eventually deposing Katherine Steiner-Davion. Though they sustained serious losses and smaller class sizes led to a smaller force, the High Command decided to fill the Cadre's open positions with soldiers from front line units.[4] After the Civil War, they redeployed to Manapire.[5]

In 3078 Princess-Regent Yvonne Steiner-Davion signed the Academy Appropriations War Powers Act. This act conscripted the Albion Training Cadre into the AFFS. As a result, the First Cadre was disbanded in 3078 and integrated into the Davion Brigade of Guards. The future of the Cadre is unknown, but if reconstituted, it will likely follow the LCT model.[6]

3085 found the first new class of Albion students to join the reconstituted Training Cadre. These students came together on New Hessen and began unpacking and assembling their equipment. These students are all members of the 3085 graduating class. This unit consists of two 'Mech companies, a reinforced battalion of battle armor, and a mixed regiment of armor.[7]
