Overview
The 202nd BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Redondo[1], assigned as a part of the LXII Corps, Fourth Army, to District 3 of the Federated Suns Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765.[2]
The 202nd was destroyed in 2765 during the Periphery Uprising due to the inexperience and timidness of its officers. Colonel Jack Lucas of the 253rd Battle Regiment was promoted to Brigade commander in the field and lead the retreat of the Division's survivors that numbered only ten Battalions. Jack was later promoted to command the 255th Royal Mechanized Infantry Division it is not recorded if the remnant of the 202nd joined him.[2][3]
