The 218th Royal Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned as a part of the XLVI Corps, Nineteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region. [1] The 218th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765. [1]

Composition History
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment the 218th would have been composed of light to medium vehicles backed up by at least two Recon companies composed of 'Mechs designed for information gathering in addition to any regular 'Mechs within the regiment.[2]
