The 255th Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned as a part of LXII Corps, Fourth Army to District 3 of the Federated Suns Military Region.[1] As one of four independent regiments within the Fourth Regimental Combat Team, the 255th participated in several anti-bandit operations.[1][2]
The 255th was moved to an undisclosed are of the Periphery in 2765 as part of the redeployment effort to fight the Periphery Uprising. The unit was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment, the 255th would have been composed of light to medium vehicles, with at least two recon companies comprising BattleMechs and vehicles designed for information gathering, as well as other regular 'Mechs.[3]
