The Three Hundred Eighth Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LIX Corps, Twentieth Army, to the Periphery Military Region. Like the other independent regiments assigned to LIX Corps, it was frequently used as a scouting force.^[1]

It was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.^[2]The 308th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.^[2]

As an SLDF Dragoon regiment the 308th would have been composed primarily of heavy to assault 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.^[3]
