The 309th Heavy Assault Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
The 309th won the Best Regiment category of the SLDF Martial Olympiad twice, in 2660 and 2732 during the Sixth and Twenty-fourth Olympiads held on Mars and later Outreach.[1][2]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLVI Corps, Nineteenth Army, of the Periphery Military Region but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765. The 309th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[3]

Composition History[edit]
As an SLDF Heavy Assault regiment, each battalion of the 309th would have been primarily composed of three companies of heavy to assault BattleMechs with a fourth company of attached artillery.[4][5]
As of 2764, the 309th had no BattleMechs lighter than sixty tons.[6]
