Overview
The Thirty-ninth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2725 the Division successfully took part in Operation Smother, to put an end to the ongoing fighting between House Davion and House Kurita forces, as part of the Second Hidden War.[1]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Raman[2], assigned as a part of the IX Corps, Second Army, to District 1 of the Federated Suns Military Region. It was then transferred to District 2 in 2765 in response to the New Vandenberg Uprising.[3] With the start of the Amaris Civil War, the Thirty-ninth would take part in the Hegemony Campaign to win back Terra. The unit would survive the fighting to take part in Operation Exodus.[3]
