Overview[edit]
The Eighty-third BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Styk[1], assigned as a part of the XXIV Corps, Fifth Army, to District 1 of the Capellan Confederation Military Region and then transferred to District 2 by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] The 83rd was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
The SLS Antietam Creek was a black navy ship from the SLDF attached to the 2nd Battalion of the 83rd BattleMech Division when the unit tried to escape from Epsilon Eridani during the Amaris Coup in 2767.[3]
