Overview
The Ninety-fifth Royal Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
The unit took its name from the fact that there were ninety-five separate political subdivisions in the pre-Terran Alliance nations of Canada, Mexico, and the United States.[1]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LVI Corps, Nineteenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[2] Assigned to garrison New Vandenberg in the Taurian Concordat the Ninety-fifth was able to provide infantry support to the neighboring 329th BattleMech Division. The forces of the Ninety-fifth also assisted local law enforcement efforts, which made them look like jack-booted enforcers.[1]
The 95th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[2]

As an SLDF Jump Infantry division the 95th would have been formed from two brigades of Jump Troops, one brigade of 'Mech regiments and two Ground Aero Wings.[3]
