Adder Keeper is a special rank among Clan Star Adder whose position is roughly inspired by historical senior non-commissioned ranks such as First Sergeant and Chief of the Boat. Though Clan society largely eschews such customs, Khan Absalom Truscott created a position to advise the Khan from the “lower ranks.” The position is open to any un-Blooded warrior and reports to the Khans, advising on matters for the entire warrior caste.[1]
Similar positions exist for each Star Adder Galaxy and Cluster, though they merge responsibilities with that of Loremaster, and are a senior advisor to the unit’s commander. [1]
