MechWarrior Aiko Ryohara was a freelance mercenary MechWarrior associated with the Ronin Group, during the Dark Age Era.[1][2][3][4][5]

History[edit]

Ryohara was trained at the Galedon Military Academy, where she formed a bitter rivalry with fellow student Ngaire McAllister that continued after graduation. Ryohara joined the Ronin Group as part of Flames Lance, which was hired by Dynamic Ordnance and Ammunition Corp to test the new Jade Hawk 'Mech. In an August 3135 clash with the Dragon's Fury Amaterasu on Murchison, Ryohara discovered McAllister was commanding the Amaterasu forces and used her 'Mech's astounding speed to rush McAllister under cover of LRM fire from her lance. This resulted in the Fury's retreat, and the design of the JHK-04 variant.[3][4][5]

Seeing more opportunities as a solo operator, Ryohara went independent, taking a contract with Yori Kurita loyalists in 3141 to defeat Emi Kurita's forces. In 3143, she led the assault that destroyed the last of the Amaterasu, tearing McAllister from the cockpit and raising her broken body in triumph.[5]

BattleMech[edit]

Ryohara piloted a JHK-04-H Jade Hawk BattleMech named Phoenix.[1][2][3][4]
