Ajax's Avengers were a mercenary unit in the employ of House Marik in the early 27th century.[1]

History
They were most famous for their defeat at the hands of McCormack's Fusiliers on Bellatrix in 2616, thus cementing that unit's good reputation. The recruiting standards of the unit were not the highest, and would take anyone who could shoot straight and didn't fall down too often. After Bellatrix many former troopers would end up dispossessed, some even finding themselves in a Holovid documentary about that action filmed in 2620. [2]
