In October of 3136, Alaric led his Trinary in a retaliatory strike against the Clan Jade Falcon's world of Koniz after Jade Falcon had raided Clan Wolf territory for supplies. After confronting the defending Trinary which included pair of Jade Hawks. He proceeded to raze the town of Ogstrenburg to the ground as punishment for raids against Clan Wolf. In this time, he believed his superiority had him god among men.

In November he after returning from his mission on Koniz, he took to clinic to recovered exhaustion on Domain. His mother, Katrina Steiner(-Davion) had come to take charge of his recovery. She informed him that he had been called to Khan Seth Ward and had been promoted to Star Colonel. She and he discussed possibilities of this and coached him on making impression on his arrival for meeting with the Khan.

December 15th, Alaric meets with Khan Ward and with two other Star Colonels Bjorn and Donovan. Khan introduces them to emissary from the Clan Wolf-in-Exile, Star Colonel Selvina Woods. She informs them that Lyran Commonwealth a mutual-alliance, ask Clan Wolf to move to the Free Worlds League border help protect them from incursions from that area. Wolves Khan marks this as beginning of process to merge two packs of Clan Wolf into one clan again. Alaric and the other assembled Star Colonels have been asked to come up with best way to accomplish this new "Exodus" in secret so that other bordering factions would not attack them in process of moving.

Alaric devised a plan calling on Clan Wolf to strike RoTS's ex-Prefecture IX at an attempt to strike Terra. By sending forces as far as the world of Nusakan, he believes it will draw enough attention, that the other factions will not notice Clan Wolf's exodus from the Occupation Zone.

In January of 3137, Alaric lead his Cluster to invade the water world of world of Yed Posterior, in it’s capital city of Henderton.

There he faced a militia unit consisting of 2 infantry companies, a mobile armor company, and light & medium Mechs that of industrial conversions. Confident of victory, Alaric bidded two stars of Battlemechs and two stars of elemental battle armor, planning to use just one star of Mechs with no intention to call-in his reserve force. However, he had not planned for environment hazards and militia's trickiness. Using tunnels of the city, marine salvage Mechs from the sea, going so far power of the fieriest lighting storms strike down Alaric's machines. Alaric orders DropShips to land and pillage from spaceport and other areas they've secured. On 2nd day, after taking considerable damage, they secure the planet only to have the 3 battalions, 2 militias and lead by Colonel Anastasia Kerensky's own Wolf Hunters combined-arms battalion. 14th of January, Alaric's forces having taken shelter in city of Hesterton's tunnels, were forced to surrender after Kerensky decided to use all her forces in her command instead of abiding to Clan honor. Being outmatched, and outgunned, Alaric decided to take note from his father and tries to learn about his enemy, so he could defeat them. He surrendered his small force to the Wolf Hunters.

Kerensky has him psychologically broken down after his surrender, trying break him of his will and thoughts of invincibility. She tells him he take him on as her apprentice. Stating she want him to fight him someday an enemy again.

Kerensky takes him to world of La Blon where he is used as source of information for Prefecture's defenders. Alaric meets Colonel Verena Wolf and he put on show to people as face of threat they all face. Here is where Alaric and Verena develop feelings for each other.

At the conference Alaric is used to provide Opposing Force view point for ideas to be bounced off. At one point, a Alkalurops militia colonel by name of Hardin takes offense that his world is not worth protecting. Alaric points out that their world doesn't interest Clan Wolf since it is worthless to them. Offended to point of outrage, Colonel Hardin assaults Alaric, but Alaric backed down from responding, believing doing so would make him a guilty party of this fight and possibly stain his reputation. Colonel Verena intervenes, defends Alaric by punching Hardin in face, knocking him down. Alaric was touched by Verena's defense of him.

In February, The Wolf Hunters arrive at recently conquered world of Unukalhai. There Alaric witnesses a battle between Star Colonel Donovan and Kerensky, with addition reconquering the planet, Donovan wanted to recover Alaric as well. In course of the battle, a key bridge in area their fighting is destroyed forcing Kerensky to surrender Alaric to him. Alaric is able to deduce from his vantage point that Kerensky deliberately lost the fight preventing him from learning her tactics. Invoking the seldom used Right of Return, Alaric is returned to Clan Wolf with honor.

However, by invoking Right of Return, Alaric loses all his previous ranks and titles. In order to win his back his rank and freedom, Alaric must submit to be a bondsman to his rival, Donovan. With a temporary rank of Star Captain, he must use the next battle in combat as a Trial of Position. Acting as Donovan's aide, Alaric advices to him that.

Star Colonel Donovan announces that he will lead Clan Wolf's Alpha Galaxy in a bid to conquer Skondia & Nusakan. While Donovan's rivals Star Colonel Hestia bid Seventh Battle Clusters against Star Colonel Edward's Third Battle Cluster for right to conqueror Alkalurops. Donovan gives Alaric command of 4th Wolf Guard & 279th Battle Cluster to take Nusakan.

Alaric advices him it’s highly likely that Kerensky would set a trap for him on Skondia and to bring more forces with him maybe advisable.

However, Donovan dismisses this and leaves only with 278th Assault Cluster and 13th Wolf Guard and bids down to a few trinaries each to deal with the defenders.

March 10th, 3137 - Alaric arrives in Nusakan's orbit with 279th and keeps 4th Wolf Guard as reserves as he makes approach.

Nusakan is defended by three military formations, the remains of the Stormhammers commanded by Colonel Carl Tucker, the mercenary unit Colton's Screaming Demons lead by Colonel Aynn Colton, and The Le Blon Djinn commanded by Colonel Verena.

Deciding Colonel Colton's unit was most venerable of the three, he made initial attack on her. Having Aerospace Star strafe and destroy her entire light mech company. After this attack, he managed to convince her to fight him with her command lance.

The bolstery and arrogant Colton fought to humiliate him. However, Alaric managed to down all her Mechs thus retaining his rank as Star Colonel. He allowed her and her people to return to her forces and face him with rest of the world's defenders.

Days later, Colonel Verena meets with him and negotiated hard with him. Threatening to crash her DropShip into his base to taking out himself and his whole command out, if he did not drop use of aerospace fighters. Alaric desires for a cluster on regiment battle, bringing 35 of his BattleMech forces to face her 72 BattleMech and support forces.

On the 19th, they meet on an arctic region known as Mudana Refuge. There Alaric fought a tough battle, taking heavy damage, himself & his forces. They managed to destroy the Djinn and battering the rest of her allied forces. Verena faced him in battle with a battered Mat Cat; and shot her down a few moments later.

The next day, Anastasia Kerensky arrived to challenge him, only to find that he already ceded the planet to her since he and his forces have been recalled by Khan Ward. Impressed with her performance, Alaric took Verena as his bondwoman.

Alaric is deployed with a Clan Wolf force in the Free Worlds League in early 3138. His forces coordinating with Lyran representative Trillian Steiner and Duke Vedet Brewster. It becomes apparent he and Brewster do not get along well. Later, his forces conquered the old Free Worlds League planet of Gannett in February.

He has hand in conquest of Helm. Alaric’s forces slaughters the Silver Hawk defenders after they failed to uphold their surrender and destroyed parts of the city Helmsdown in 28th of April.
