Tai-sho Alejandro Appleton was the commander of the First New Samarkand Regulars, with the Draconis Combine, as of 3145.[1]

Appleton, with the First New Samarkand Regulars, was based on Tiflis as of 3145.[1] Despite having lost a Battalion of BattleMechs, Appleton remained confident of his unit's ability to secure the border with Raven Alliance due to the First's historical focus on combined arms warfare, and had reassured Tai-shu Angmar Kyuzu he would be able to succeed in this task without difficulty.[2]
