Colonel Andrei Shostokovitch was Beta Regiment's second commander. He was an extremely popular leader, having worked his way up through the ranks. "Shos" had a gruff, brash exterior that concealed a tremendous, if unorthodox, sense of humor. Despite all this, he was an excellent strategist who aggressively pushed his regiment, up to his death on Crossing.[1]
