History[edit]
Fortress Republic[edit]
As of 3145 Turner lead Stone's Brigade from the Terra based Stone's Lament.[2] At this time he was working with Paladin Janella Lakewood, in order to get Devlin Stone's namesake Brigade ready for action.[4]
Battle of Terra[edit]
In 3151, Turner participated in the Battle of Terra, the Republic of the Sphere's last stand against Clan Wolf and Clan Jade Falcon. Staying with Stone in his various command posts for most of the campaign, Turner acted as one of the Exarch's senior military advisor.[5] On 1 March 3151, Day T+50 of the battle, at the urging of Jonah Levin ordered the previously held in reserve Stone's Liberators to assist with the defense of Geneva under the command of Levin.[6][7]
He also fought in one of the last engagements of the campaign on 3 April 3151, Day T+83, in Scottsburg Kentucky against several Jade Falcon Galaxies under the direct command of Khan Malvina Hazen. Despite being too old and out of shape to still be an effective MechWarrior, he joined his troopers on the battlefield, unsteadily piloting his 'Mech against the Falcons.[8] The result of this fight was however defeat and death, with Turner summarily executed by the Jade Falcons after they had overcome Stone's Brigade, together with a number of other captured Republic MechWarriors.[1][8]
BattleMech[edit]
Andrew Turner was known to have piloted an Atlas III BattleMech.[8]
