Ann Adelmana was the commanding officer of the Davion Heavy Guards as of 3050.[1]

Marshal Adelmana, serving with the Davion Heavy Guards, was stationed on New Avalon in 3050 and on Galax by 3062.[2] Strangely for a commander of the Heavy Guards, Adelmana had no direct connection to House Davion before taking charge of the unit. She began her career in the Fifth Syrtis Fusiliers but was transferred out for having a disruptive, strongly pro-Davion attitude. Finding herself in the Heavy Guards, she began working up the ranks before being given command of the unit by Hanse Davion himself after the former commander's retirement. Though a decorated officer leading a decorated unit, Adelmana's political leanings meant that her and her troops were stranded on Galax by Archon Katherine Steiner-Davion [2]
Although being stranded meant Adelmana and her troops were mostly uninvolved with the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, when Katherine-loyal Marshal of the Armies Jackson Davion visited Galax during the war's fourth wave, the meeting he had with Adelmana and armor commander Major General Jonathan Davion contributed to his eventual abandonment of Katherine's cause.[3] Adelmana's Heavy Guards were ultimately rescued from their exile in time to fight for Victor Steiner-Davion on New Avalon, where they were almost entirely destroyed in the fighting for Avalon City.[4]
