Aoi Bekker was a trueborn, of Clan Ghost Bear.
History
Aoi won a Bekker Bloodname and reach the rank of Star Colonel sometime prior to 3144. She was described as very large, so she probably was an Elemental. That year, she was stationed on Quarell, when on the 8 September, a street urchin attempted to steal her wallet, Bekker was amused by the girl's defiance. When she asked her if she has family, the girl, named Alexis Zarnofsky said the other street urchins where her family, but Aoi laughed as they fled, leaving her alone. She took Alexis to a social workers office and gave her a plate full of biscuits. When Bekker returned, offered her a place into her Clan's Touman, and specially, a family. Alexis, tempted, accepted, and said one day she will be a MechWarrior. Bekker took her to a sibko training facility, where she left her at the trainer's charge. Aoi obviously had seen something special in the girl, and with time, her intuition to recruit her proved accurate.[1]
