Aung's Chindits were a mercenary unit from Nanking.
At the end of January 3080 the unit tried to hijack several APCs from Kallon Industries. For that, they had to fight against Grandin's Crusaders. After the first group of Partisans passed the Kallontown spaceport, they started their attack. They emerged from the outskirts of the city and attempted to hijack the vehicles. The mercenaries coordinated their attack well, with an aerial and land attack. This forced the Crusaders to split their forces and nearly cost them the APCs. But with the appearance of several flybys militia aircraft scrambled to drive the mercenary fighters away, the Crusaders were able to defend the convoy by forcing the mercenary leader to back off, and with him the rest of the unit.[1]
