Planetary History

Star League

During the final years of the Star League, Bangor was the host to a Star League Defense Force garrison.[33]

Clan Invasion

Operation REVIVAL

Bangor was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar in September 3050 during the Fourth Wave of Operation REVIVAL. It involved Trinary Command, Trinary Assault and Second Trinary Battle of the Jaguar Grenadiers against the defending Second Benjamin Regulars. The battle began at the Bangor Market with the Grenadiers using the superior range of their weapons to devastating effect against the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery forces, then sending in heavy units to breach through the defender's lines. This forced the Bejamin Regulars to make an orderly retreat, but the continual pressure of the Jaguar's onslaught proved too much in the end, and they were finally destroyed on the high plateau known as Division Shield overlooking the planet's capital.[18]

Operation BULLDOG

Bangor was invaded in the third wave of Operation BULLDOG by the Second Dieron Regulars, Warrior House Daidachi, and the First Wolf Legion Cluster. The defending Fifty-first Garrison Cluster brutally fought the invaders but were forced to retreat to Huntress while they still had strength.[34]
