Description

The Clan Support Star is a collection of five plastic miniatures for use in the classic BattleTech tabletop and Alpha Strike games. The box also provides five dry-erase cards, which are intended to directly support Alpha Strike gameplay, and five new Clan Pilot Cards.

The Clan Support Star was created as a part of the Clan Invasion Kickstarter 2019, initially as a stretch goal available at $550,000 USD; following a consultation exercise with the Kickstarter backers partway through the campaign, the contents of the Support Star Pack were revised, and the order of the stretch goals was adjusted; this saw the Support Star Pack become the $350,000 stretch goal, in place of the defunct Clan Pursuit Star.

When first offered as the $550,000 stretch goal the contents of the Clan Support Star were advertised as a Hunchback IIC, Kodiak, Marauder IIC, Supernova and Warhammer IIC. Following the consultation exercise and the change in targets, the contents of the Clan Support Star had been revised to the current line-up of an Arctic Cheetah, Battle Cobra, Black Lanner, Linebacker and Night Gyr.

In addition to being chosen as a pledge reward, the Clan Support Star could be purchased as an add-on item for $25 USD per pack.
