System Information
X:Y Coordinates-25.605 : 276.803[e]

Planetary History

Clan Invasion

In December 3051 Bessarabia was attacked by Clan Wolf during the Fifth Wave of the resumed Operation REVIVAL. With the entire Alpha Galaxy and Golden Keshik invading the planet, under the command of ilKhan Ulric Kerensky himself, the defending Fifth Davion Guards RCT under Hauptmann General William Galloway decided to erect defensive positions along the sand dunes of Sirocco's Den so as to defend both the capital Lothas and the important mining and industrial center Cintosh. Unfortunately dividing their focus between the two important cities gave the ilKhan all the opening he needed. By launching probing attacks at both cities as his warriors advanced closer, striking the Guards at Jinnah Rift, Wallah City and Ruebhan, he forced the defenders to assume a reactionary position. At a critical juncture when the Fifth Davion attempted to second-guess the ilKhan by sending reinforcements to Cintosh, the Wolves instead attacked Lothas and overwhelmed the city's defenders. The Guards' losses at Lothas were so heavy that the unit was forced to retreat to La Grave.[25]

Jihad

In early March 3069 Clan Wolf took advantage of the Clan Jade Falcon attacks on the Lyran Alliance to launch their own attacks on several Falcon-held worlds. Bessarabia was one of the worlds the Wolves conquered in the first two weeks of March.[19]
