Clan Invasion

In February 3052 Biota was conquered by Clan Wolf as part of the Fifth Wave of Operation REVIVAL. The planet had previously been ignored by Clan Wolf since it was of no strategic importance to their campaign, but when neither Clan Jade Falcon nor Clan Steel Viper expressed much interest in acquiring the planet the Wolves made their play for it. Rather than commit ground forces to it's conquest Clan Wolf decided to negotiate for the planet's surrender, and Star Commodore Nihsen of the Wolves' Bravo Naval Reserve Star succeeded in getting the planetary government to cede control of Biota to them and disarm their meager militia forces.[28]

Jihad

In early March 3069 Clan Wolf took advantage of the Clan Jade Falcon attacks on the Lyran Alliance to launch their own attacks on several Falcon-held worlds. Biota was one of the worlds the wolves conquered in the first two weeks of March.[20]
