History
The Buford was a Star Lord-class JumpShip owned and operated by the Eridani Light Horse.
In December 3058 the Union-class DropShip Cossack was one of the transport DropShips in the Eridani Light Horse fleet and was attached to the Buford. The Cossack was responsible for transporting the senior officers and staff of the 151st Light Horse Regiment, including Colonel Charles Antonescu, the regimental commander, to Kikuyu to rendezvous with all of the other senior officers from the famed mercenary brigade for a secret briefing on the Second Star League plan to destroy Clan Smoke Jaguar.[1]
