Planetary Info

Burton is a cool temporate world at the outer edge of the Taurian Concordat near the Capellan Confederation. The planet is home to one of the Concordat's largest electronics manufacture, O-P Computer Electronics. The planetary population is mostly company employees and staff, with a few regional trading houses based on planet. The planet's high tech trade draws a higher than normal rate of pirate raids so in addition to the Taurian Defense Forces assigned to Burton, the local government has raised a force of 2 Battlemech companies as well as a full battalion of conventional forces. Currently the Concordat Jaegers place their 3rd Battalion on Burton. The Concordat is keenly aware of how valuable the planet is and take extra steps to limit and observe all foreigners on Burton.
