System Information

The Cameron system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the Regulan Fiefs.[1][2]

System Description

The Cameron system is located near the Ngake and Regulus systems.[1][2]

System History

The Cameron system was settled during the First Exodus from Terra, and was a member of the Principality of Regulus prior to the formation of the Free Worlds League in the late twenty-third century.[3]

Political Affiliation

The Star League

In 2762 Cameron was the site of a brief skirmish between the Fourth Regulan Hussars and the 210th Jump Infantry Division[30] The Fourth was a newly-raised regiment and was undergoing training exercises on Cameron at the time; not only were the training exercises unannounced, but the Fourth had been so recently commissioned by Duchess Elsa Cameron-Jones that they had yet to receive basic items like proper insignia, which led the 210th to believe that the Fourth were pirates raiding the 210th's garrison world. The two units almost entered direct combat before the Fourth were finally able to prove who they were conclusively.[31]

The Jihad

Michelle Cameron-Jones, the Regulan Hussars officer and pregnant wife of Regulan prince Titus Cameron-Jones, was convalescing on Cameron when she was assassinated on the 3rd of May 3077. Michelle was targeted as a message to her husband from Apollyon, commander of the Manei Domini, and her grisly death by vivisection was performed by the disguised Domini operative Naamah just hours before Michelle was due to be visited by her husband.[32]
