Canon Rumor is the name for information/stories/facts which are in-story rumor thats is found in various source books and novels. Some of facts of Battletech's history is sometimes based on mis-direction.

Subject Notes

Canon-Rumor came about used during FanPro days, when original Interstellar Players was introduced. Book provided different alternated truths so a history and events of Battletech universe, providing players with alternative storylines to play with.

Jihad Hotspots Series is largely based on half-truths and rumor based on communication breakdown of the HPG Network due to the Jihad.
