Carmen Hern was a combat vehicle commander, who served within the Stormhammers' Tharkan Strikers, during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Hern had brown hair, brown eyes and disfiguring scars on the left side of her face.[1]
History[edit]
Initially a MechWarrior with the mercenary Kell Hounds, Hern's career in BattleMechs was cut short by a cockpit explosion, which left her with facial scaring and a destroyed inner ear. Half deaf, and unable to pilot a 'Mech, Hern eventually left the Hounds. Following Clan Wolf-in-Exile's Alexia Wolf from Arc-Royal to Skye, in response to Jasek Kelswa-Steiner's call for loyal Lyrans to join the Stormhammers, Hern was retrained as a tank commander and given a new lease on life with the Tharkan Strikers.[1]
Vehicle[edit]
Hern was known to have piloted a Regulator II hovertank, serial number CC0561-034A, nicknamed "Slugger". Initially constructed for the Capellan Confederation in 3095, this tank fought in several border skirmishes against the Federated Suns, before it was lost during a disastrous raid against the Republic of the Sphere. Salvaged by the Republic, it made its way through several commands, before find itself on Skye at the time of the Blackout.[1]
