Category:'Mech classifications

In BattleTech, 'Mechs are frequently grouped into a number of both formal and informal classes. Most of these are distinctions or groupings that exist in-universe, but some do not and only exist in the form of game rules or player parlance. (This should not be confused with BattleMech roles in the sense of game rules which, despite the overlap, is a distinct category as they have a defined meaning under certain rules while being used rather more generic in-universe.)

This category is a catch-all category for all such groupings.

Classifications that also exist in-universe will usually also be included in Category:Technology.
