As per Policy:BattleTech Essays, BattleTech Essays are articles on the Sarna.net BattleTechWiki that approach a given aspect of the BattleTech franchise or universe in a broad manner, exploring or explaining issues that the authors feels cannot adequately be covered in another article.

Essays should be used sparingly. Policy:Notability in in full effect regarding Essays. Each article must be seen as relevant and providing substantial value to the BattleTech community in some fashion, and is open to requests for deletion.
