This category is for Boxed Sets for BattleTech or other related games (such as BattleForce, AeroTech, etc.) A boxed set is a commercial product that contains the rules and foundational game components (e.g., maps, tokens, miniatures, dice, record sheets, etc.) needed to play the respective game or game expansion. A boxed set for a game expansion may include a complete self-contained game or it may require a preceding box set to operate. Each box set emphasizes a specific aspect level of the BattleTech universe. While the respective games can be played separately and independently, each contains additional background that may enhance its fellow games (by nature of inhabiting a shared universe) and may permit scenarios with gameplay that could interconnect between games.
