This category is for '''Boxed Sets''' for ''BattleTech'' or other related games (such as ''BattleForce'', ''AeroTech'', etc.)  A boxed set is a commercial product that contains the rules and foundational game components (e.g., maps, tokens, miniatures, dice, record sheets, etc.) needed to play the respective game or to introduce the respective game expansion.  Some boxed sets representing game expansions do include a complete self-contained game while some do require a preceding box set to operate.  Each of these emphasized a specific aspect level of the BattleTech universe.  Though most games could be played separately, they contain additional background to enhance its fellow games and may permit scenarios with gameplay that could interconnect.
