This category lists all articles for planets that have been, past or present, operating as independent from any multi-planet state. Note: this category includes those planets visible on the Founding-era maps of the various Great Houses outside the borders of the forming states, as their presence on the maps indicates the high probability that the world was at some point declared independent of the Terran Alliance; however, these worlds are marked with the "Inhabited world" political affiliation, as no map has yet been released identifying all of the various protostates and minor states that existed.
