Wrestling with the mess of categorization.

I've been messing around with the infantry weapons page for a while and I think I've come down to a decent solution to split out the weapons/tools we have here without going too far into the weeds. Instead of giving everything the generic infantry weapons category, what I plan to do is split out each weapon subtype, like Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Ect, and then split those categories into smaller ones, like Fleschette, Lasers and so on. This should help reduce the mess we have on our hands here, and make the whole system a bit more streamlined from a top down perspective. The only real issue I have is that quite a few weapons have RPGv/1-5 that need to either be deleted or merged, and that needs an admin to do so. I've gone in and tagged most of the offending articles with delete and merge tags, but I can't merge articles myself. If anyone has some spare time to work on this it'd be appreciated.--Admiral Obvious (talk) 17:56, 2 October 2019 (EDT)
