The Daggerstar Keychain accessory was created by Catalyst Game Labs as a reward item available during their crowdfunding effort for the BattleTech: Clan Invasion crowdfunding campaign which ran from July 18, 2019 to August 18, 2019. The Dog Tag was the US$440,000 stretch reward, and was added to the rewards for all those who pledged at the Star Commander/US$50 pledge level or above (with exception of the Merchant Caste pledge level which was a level specific for retailers). In addition, Daggerstar Keychains could be purchased by campaign backers as an add-on item for US$10 each.
The Daggerstar Keychain is approximately 3 mm thick and came complete with a chain; the front side of the tag depicts a Kerensky star.
