Claude Le Gaugen was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 196th Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

Commanding a Division nicknamed "The Flying Nun", his troops took to calling him "Mother Superior", a name Le Gaugen hated. While he eventually stopped imposing punishments on soldiers using the name, as of 2764 he was still seeking reassignment by his superiors from Thirteenth Army.[1]
